JETBLUE // MR. WHAMMY

It all started when LeBron James had Brooklyn Nets superfan "Mr. Whammy" ejected after being too distracting on the court while Cleveland was shooting free throws. Did we mention Mr. Whammy is 79-years-old?

"If you were to ask me if I was the deciding factor in a game, I'd say absolutely!" and yes, the statistics prove Mr. Whammy's legendary "whammy" hex may work; Barclays Center is where the most foul shots are missed by a visiting NBA team. Coincidence? We think not.

With JetBlue being the proud sponsor of Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets, we knew we had to do something special for Mr. Whammy in a way only JetBlue could the next time Cleveland came to town.
We thought, "Well hey, if LeBron and the Cavs couldn't handle one Mr. Whammy, what would they do if there were thousands?"

With almost a non-existent budget, we launched a social campaign, created an animated video, a landing page, did an arena takeover, and made 4,000 whammy foam hands all to let Cleveland know that, when you mess with one of us, you mess with all of Brooklyn.
