BURGER KING // TWITTER BAIT

The last time Burger King released Funnel Cake Fries, Twitter was still a fledgling, you were obsessed with the first season of The Walking Dead, and Kesha’s hit single “TikTok” was #1 on Billboard.

The year was 2010.

Since this was the year most of us were getting a Twitter and Instagram account, we decided to relaunch Burger King’s Funnel Cake Fries in 2019 by going full on lurk mode, doing one of the most audacious no-no’s on social—liking peoples’ old posts...like, really old posts...from like, 2010.

No verified profile was safe. Everyone from Jojo to Jimmy Fallon to Bieber got hit with a double tap, and many of them took the bait.

Who took the bait hook, line, and funnel cake fry the hardest???
